Central Massachusetts Breweries (video in description)

Craft Breweries have really began to bloom since the year 2011. In 2011 there was an estimated 1,776 breweries in the United States, and today there is almost 4,000 and counting. Considering this trend, more local craft breweries have been started within central Massachusetts. It is with good reason because according to Kevin Koczwara, craft beer makes up 11% of the total market, 41% of Americans who drink alcohol perfer beer, the 21.7 million barrels sold in 2014, and that breweries can only produce up to 6 million barrels a years to qualify as a "craft brewery" have all amplified the reasons for more of these local breweries to open their doors. In Massachusetts, some of the biggest brewing companies are located such as Harpoon Brewery and the Samuel Adams Brewing Company. However, there are also some other great breweries in the region that may not be as well known. Here is a list of 10 local craft breweries in central Massachusetts (hours subject to change).
