Craft Breweries have really began to bloom since the year 2011. In 2011 there was an estimated 1,776 breweries in the United States, and today there is almost 4,000 and counting. Considering this trend, more local craft breweries have been started within central Massachusetts. It is with good reason because according to Kevin Koczwara, craft beer makes up 11% of the total market, 41% of Americans who drink alcohol perfer beer, the 21.7 million barrels sold in 2014, and that breweries can only produce up to 6 million barrels a years to qualify as a "craft brewery" have all amplified the reasons for more of these local breweries to open their doors. Pabst Blue Ribbon is brewed by Pabst Brewing Company a United State Brewery that is located in Los Angeles, California. Ingredients that were used to make Pabst Blue Ribbon malted barley, a unique corn syrup, hops, filtered waters, and cultured yeast. The corn syrup sugar is fermented into alcohol, CO2, and carbohydrates. The corn syrup makes up the beers flavor, body texture, and exterior color.
