  1. New England Brewing Company: (Woodbridge, CT)

One of Connecticut's flagship breweries, the New England Brewing Company has become one of the hottest spots in the region for craft beer enthusiasts. Its Taproom has a cozy vibe, but long lines can quickly form to get in for a taste of their exquisite brews. The Woodbridge brewery is best known for its wildly popular Baby-Bot, an immensely hopped IPA. Although the brewery does not offer tours or host events, its wonderful selection of Ales, Stouts and IPA's put it on our list.

  2. Harpoon Brewery: (Boston, MA/Windsor, VT)

Best known for their delectable IPA's, Harpoon Brewery is a classic New England brewery that you absolutely must visit. The selection of their delicious ales and ciders perfectly complements their bold IPA's and stouts. Tours at Harpoon Brewery run every 20 minutes, and are a fantastic experience. The brewery also hosts several events, including their upcoming 4-day St. Patrick's day festival, which has become a popular tradition in the Boston area. They also have a branch in Vermont, but we recommend visiting the Boston brewery for a timeless experience
